Plain City
Plain City is in northwest Weber County. It was settled in 1859, incorporated in 1944, and has agricultural roots. Population grew about 43% between 2010 and 2020, adding new subdivisions alongside farmland and larger lots. Residents helped found several national trucking companies, including C.R. England, Swift and Knight.
